LEARN ABOUT Room Host FAQs:
- This gig’s perfect for students, hygienists, front office experts and anyone who wants to "greet people in the front" but “sit in the back”.
- Show up about an hour before class, check in with TDA Staff, and grab your host packet. It’s got all the info you need—courses, classroom numbers, the works.
- Your job? No prior communication with the speaker - just show up on time, check badges at the door (that’s their ticket in!), help folks find seats, and keep things running smoothly. Easy peasy!
LEARN ABOUT Speaker Host FAQs:
- This gig’s great for dentists, hygienists, front office pros, or marketing whizzes—basically anyone cool with helping the speaker a bit and comfortable speaking at the podium.
- A few weeks prior to the meeting, you’ll introduce yourself to the speaker via email or phone and let them know you are their “host.” You may also have the opportunity to have breakfast or lunch and spend some 1:1 time with them.
- Your job? You’ll be able to dine with the speaker for a meal (full day hosts only), greet attendees, assist up front, check AV, field questions, and introduce the speaker (don’t worry, we’ll give you their bio and talking points).
