Dr. Rashmi Hegde is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontics, College of Dentistry, Texas A&M University. She received her dental degree from India in 1999. Additionally, she received a Master of Science degree in Clinical Dentistry in 2005 as well as a Certificate in Periodontology in 2009, both, from The University of Alabama at Birmingham. She became a Diplomate of The American Board of Periodontology in 2009, is actively involved in clinical research in Stomatology and the American Heart Association as part of the Healthy Smiles Healthy Hearts Science Advisory Group.
