She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and completed her Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. A proud Air Force veteran, she served four years in the dental corps before founding her private practice, About Face Oral & Facial Surgery, in Frisco, Texas. Her practice specializes in full-arch dental implants, advanced bone grafting, and IV sedation, with over 1,000 arches completed. Beyond the operating room, Dr. James is the visionary behind Phresh by Dr. Porchia, a luxury medical apparel and lifestyle brand.
