Ms. Dewhirst graduated from the University of Southern California, practiced dental hygiene for 20 years, and is adjunct dental hygiene faculty at West Coast University and has had numerous articles published. She presents over 100 seminars annually in the U.S. and Canada, is Editor-in-Chief of OSAP's peer-reviewed Infection Control in Practice, and is published in numerous dental journals, textbooks, and guidance documents.
