Dr. Macias attended the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental School at San Antonio and graduated in 1983. Since 1999, he has served as a visiting faculty member of the L.D. Pankey Institute. He currently serves as lead faculty with the Essential 1 curriculum. He maintains a general dental practice at the Texas Center for Athletes facility, where he offers comprehensive aesthetic and restorative dentistry with a great interest in sports dentistry and the treatment of disorders of the TMJ, sleep disordered breathing and obstructive sleep apnea.
