He received his dental degree from Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1999. He has a history of 12 years in hospitality and is a previous cast member at Disney. He is a graduate of the Kois Center in Washington and also an alumnus of the Pankey Institute in Florida. He lectures frequently on customer service, team building, body language, and non-verbal communication and what they mean to the success of our practices.

He is on the faculty of the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine as an Assistant Clinical Professor and teaches clinical fixed prosthodontics. He uses these technologies to provide same-day crowns, printed provisional restorations, implant surgical guides and occlusal guards. Since 2019, Dr. Rooney has practiced at Champions Dentistry in Spring, Texas. As a member of the ADA, TDA, and GHDS, he remains active in the professional community and is dedicated to making digital dentistry approachable and practical for colleagues.

DDSDr. Gargi Mukherji is Professor and Director of Clinical Simulation at UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry. Upon graduation from her general practice residency, she worked in private practice for 10 years prior to joining academia and pursuing her passion for teaching. She also has been active in seeing patients throughout the community as part of UT Dentists extramural faculty practice. Her specialty interests include the treatment of medically compromised patients. Dr. Mukherji has been a past recipient of the Dean’s Excellence Award for Teaching and Innovation and the Dean’s Excellence Award in Mentoring. She along with her colleague Dr. Ralph Cooley are inventors of “Airway Armor” – a safety device to help prevent accidental aspiration of foreign objects in the oral cavity.
