What is a Room Host?
This gig’s perfect for students, basically anyone who wants to "greet people in the front" but “sit in the back”.
What do I do when I volunteer?
Show up about an hour before class, check in with TDA Staff, and grab your host packet. It’s got all the info you need—courses, classroom numbers, the works.
What is my job?
We kindly ask that you show up on time, dress professionally, check badges at the door (that’s their ticket in!), help folks find seats, and keep things running smoothly. Easy peasy!
Do students need to register for the TDA Meeting?
Yes. Students must register to attend (student rate applies).
When does registration open?
Registration opens January 7, 2026.
When will I hear about volunteering?
A TDA representative will contact you with volunteer details in early 2026.
Do I need to register to attend the panel?
You only need to register if you are not volunteering. Volunteers will be automatically registered by TDA.
What happens if I sign up and can't attend?
No problem! We will work with you on a case-by-case basis.
How do I prepare?
Bring questions for the admissions officers, a notepad or device for taking notes, and review each school’s website to help guide your questions.
